Depending on the device, the NFC function can be found in different places. While NFC is always enabled on modern Apple devices, it can be enabled and disabled on Android smartphones.

Are large NFC tags better than small ones?
Large NFC tags are not always automatically better than small ones. The optimum size depends on many factors, such as the reader or the intended use.

Where can I find the NFC function on my smartphone?
The NFC function can usually only be found via the quick access bar (on Android) and in the general settings of the smartphone (Android and Windows). However, this function is not available on iPhones. You can only test whether the iPhone is NFC-capable.

How does a NFC tag and chip work?
First, the reader sends commands and energy in the form of electricity to the NFC tag. The NFC chip of the NFC tag receives these through an antenna and is activated. Then the NFC chip interprets the reader's command and sends the necessary information back by antenna.

Why do NFC tags not work on metallic surfaces?
