With the NFC pendant e-Paper, small messages can be easily taken along and changed at any time. The pendant combines a 1.54 inch (39 mm) E-Ink display with NFC interface, via which new content can be transferred to the display. Content can be displayed in red, black, white and remains permanently visible without power supply - even in sunlight.
Content can be changed via Android or iPhone app. In this, a text is specified or an image is inserted and then transmitted to the display. In our How2sDescribe NFC display with Android andDescribe NFC display with iOS we show the process step by step. This process takes up to 8 seconds depending on the content and NFC smartphone. The pendant can be used e.g. as an everyday companion with a personal message on your bag, backpack or keychain.

The ACR1281U-C2 Card UID Reader is a contactless card reader that can automatically and efficiently read the Unique Identifier Number (UID) of NFC products (NFC tags, NFC cards, NFC stickers and more).Functions of the Card UID Reader (ACR1281U-C2)When the ACR1281U-C2 is touched with an NFC card (e.g. a MIFARE card), it retrieves the UID of the card and sends it back to the PC automatically. The reader allows the UID to be output directly to any editor, e.g. Notepad, MS Excel, MS Word, etc. The UID can be used to correctly identify cardholders in various applications such as identity verification, time and attendance and access control. The ACR1281U-C2 also has an anti-collision function that ensures that only one card is accessed when multiple cards are presented at the same time.
Because the ACR1281U-C2 Card UID Reader is compatible with the Human Interface Device (HID) standard, it reduces driver installation issues during integration into PC environments. It can support most operating systems, including Microsoft® Windows, Linux and other embedded systems.
Features
USB 2.0 full speed interface
USB HID keyboard emulation (reader simulates input devices)
Contactless card support:
Read/write speed of up to 848 kbps
Built-in antenna for contactless tag access, with card reading distance up to 50 mm (depending on tag type)
Supports ISO 14443 Part 4 Type A and B cards and MIFARE series
Integrated anti-collision function (only one tag is accessed at a time)
USB firmware upgradeability
Configuration
ACS provides a configuration tool that can be used to configure the UID readout properties. To the download of the ACS-configuration tool.
The D-Logic DL533R IP54 is based on NXP's PR533 chipset and supports all common standards for reading and writing NFC tags. Via the USB interface it is addressed as a PC/SC capable smart card reader from the system and can therefore be used with common software solutions based on PC/SC as well as all common operating systems (Windows, macOS, GNU/Linux with libusb 1.0+).
Due to the integrated range booster in the NFC reader D-Logic DL533R IP54, the range can be increased up to 1 cm compared to other readers. The integrated range booster has an antenna with higher energy + strength. Readiness and reading status are displayed by LED / LED pulsing. Thanks to the compact design and the flexible connection via micro USB, the device is particularly suitable for hidden integration, for example.
Note: The robust version of the reader is characterized by a screwed and sealed housing, which protects the reader resistant to moisture and humidity to a certain extent (IP54).
Info for developers: The D-Logic products are characterized by extensive SDKs and examples, which are maintained by the manufacturer in an openly accessible GIT repository. We are D-Logic sales and development partner, feel free to contact us for individual hardware requests.

The NFC display combines an e-ink display with an NFC interface, which can be used to update content via smartphone. The display has a diagonal of 4.2 inches (10.6cm) and displays black and white content permanently and without power supply. The E-Ink technology makes it easy to read even in bright environments and sunlight. The display is enclosed in a robust ABS housing and can be easily attached to flat surfaces using the enclosed 3M adhesive pad.
The necessary energy as well as the data to be displayed is provided via NFC. The display can be programmed with new content via Android or iPhone app. In our How2s programming NFC display with Android and programming NFC display with iOS we show the process step by step. The uFR Classic CS supports all common standards and NFC tag types and can both read and write NFC tags. It can be easily connected to the system via the micro-USB interface (USB to micro-USB cable included). The reader is primarily aimed at developers and system integrators, as it communicates with the system via its own SDK and does not rely on the PC/SC standard. The advantage of the own protocol is the higher abstraction of the NFC functions, which can significantly accelerate the development of the desired functionalities.
Compared to other NFC readers, the D-Logic DL533R impresses with a higher range (typically +1cm vs. the ACS1252U), which is achieved by the integrated range booster, an antenna with higher energy + strength. Readiness and reading status are displayed by LED / LED pulsing. Thanks to the compact design and the flexible connection via micro USB, the device is particularly suitable for hidden integration, for example.
The uFR Reader comes with a detailed and well maintained SDK (public GIT repository), which supports the integration into your own application. We are D-Logik sales and development partner, feel free to contact us for individual function and hardware requests.

The TWN4 Multitech from Elatec is a read/write device that supports multiple frequencies (13.56Mhz, 125kHz and 134.2kHz). The TWN4 can be used for reading/writing NFC tags as well as with common transponders from other manufacturers (e.g. ATMEL, EM, ST, NXP, TI and Legic). In addition to specific tags, the reader also supports the ISO 14443A, ISO 144443B, ISO15693 and ISO 18092/ECMA-340 standards.
Furthermore, the TWN4 can be operated in USB key emulation mode or CCID, PC/SC mode. In the first case, the device masquerades as a keyboard to the operating system and tag information read is passed as key input. In the second case, the device can be addressed via the standard CCID, PC/SC API, e.g. to read/write tags with the help of suitable software. The selection of the function modes is controllable via the firmware of the reader, which is configurable with the help of theTWN4 DevPack from Elatec.
To be able to use the full functionality of the TWN4, some training and basic IT knowledge is necessary. For common use cases we recommend our alternatively offered reader in combination with our NFC21 tools.
