Where can I find the NFC function on my smartphone?
Does NFC work automatically or not? Where can I actually find the NFC function on different smartphones? The answer is...
The NFC function can usually only be found via the quick access bar (on Android) and in the general settings of the smartphone (Android and Windows). However, this function is not available on iPhones. You can only test whether the iPhone is NFC-capable.
Android
On Android, the NFC function can be found directly in the quick access bar. After opening the quick access bar, swipe down again to display the full bar.
The NFC symbol should now be visible.

If this is not the case, you may have to swipe through the various pages of the quick access bar to find the NFC symbol.

If it cannot be found there either, tap on the 3 dots at the top right, select Edit buttons and drag & drop the NFC symbol into your quick access bar.

Windows
On nfc-enabled Windows smartphones, the NFC function can be found under Settings > Connections > Tap+Send.
iPhone
It is not possible to find the NFC function on iPhones. The reason for this is that the NFC function is automatically activated on iPhones and cannot be deactivated.
