Apple's 5G iPhone 15 Pro, which was released in September 2023, was released together with the iOS 17 version. It is still possible to use NFC for the 15 generation.
Furthermore, the iPhone remains available in 126 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB storage options. Now it also comes with the new Wi-Fi 6E technology, which gives the Pro model better connectivity. The 6.1'' ProMotion display with a resolution of 2556 x 1179 pixels at 460 ppi and 120 GHz also remains the same. As a result, the dimensions of the smartphone are: 146.6 x (H) 70.6 (W) x 8.3 mm (D) with a weight of 187 g. Recently, the iPhone 15 Pro is no longer made of aluminum as usual, but of titanium.
From now on, a USB-C port also replaces the USB Lightning port. The ring-silent switch also changes to an action button that can perform multiple functions at once when pressed.
With an advanced Pro camera system, the iPhone 15 Pro can achieve very sharp photos. The system consists of a 48 MP main camera, a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle camera. Apple promises next-generation photos with focus and depth control.
The iPhone 15 Pro is equipped with an A17 Pro Bionic chip, which ensures better performance in graphics-intensive games. In total, it consists of an octa-core processor, a 6-core GPU and a working memory of 8 GB RAM.
Differences compared to the predecessor series (iPhone 14 Pro):
- Titanium as material
- Action button instead of ring/silent button
- better processor chip
- USB-C instead of Lightning connector
