September 2023 Apple released the 5G-capable iPhone 15 Plus together with the new iOS version "iOS 17". All known NFC features of the 14 series can still be used with the iPhone 15 Plus.
New changes have been made to the design colors, as the smartphone is now available in blue, rosé, yellow, green and black. It is also available in 126 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB storage options. The advantage of the iPhone 15 Plus over the iPhone 15 is the 6.7'' display with a resolution of 2796 x 1290 pixels at 460 ppi. Due to the larger display, the dimensions of the smartphone are: 160.9 x (H) 77.8 (W) x 7.8 mm (D) with a weight of 201 g.
With an advanced dual-camera system, the iPhone 15 Plus can now achieve even better photos. The system consists of a 48 MP main camera and an ultra-wide-angle camera. Apple promises next-generation photos with a newly added focus and depth control.
An A16 Bionic chip is installed in the iPhone 15, which grants better performance in graphics-intensive games. Overall, it consists of an octa-core processor, a 5-core GPU and a RAM of 6 GB.
Now, the normal iPhone 15 model also has a Dynamic Island, which was previously only reserved for the Pro model. Here, live activities are displayed directly on the screen at the top center when you unlock your phone. A USB-C port also replaces the USB Lightning port.
