Can I also use the shortcuts on the AirTag with other iPhones?
Is it possible to create an automation with an airtag and use it with different cell phones?
No, because the shortcut or automation is saved locally on the iPhone that creates it. To be able to use the automation with other iPhones, they must set up the automation manually with the same airtag.
It is therefore possible to use a single airtag for many different iPhones. To avoid having to create a new automation each time, iPhone users can also share them with each other. However, this automation must always be connected to the airtag again afterwards.
