Launch app with a NFC tag
In this How2, we explain how to link to a desired app. We use an NFC tag for this purpose. The goal is to no longer have to search for and launch the desired app on the home screen. After the smartphone has come into contact with the NFC tag, the app should be launched directly. This is particularly practical in situations where the hands have to be free, such as in the car.
We use the free NFC TagWriter app for this purpose.

Create shortcut
After we launch the app, we tap Write → New Entry → Launch App → Use Name of Installed Package.
Here we select the app we want to use.
After that, we can tap WRITE to write on the NFC tag. To do this, we need to hold it against the top back of the smartphone.
Summary
Through this How2, we have explained how to open an app with an NFC tag without opening that app manually first. This can save time and shorten certain actions. Especially apps that are rarely used, but are needed at certain times, can be accessed quickly with this.
For problems with access rights on the Android smartphone, we provide solutions here. Other useful automations with an Android smartphone and NFC tools are explained here.
