The Offline NFC Business Card is an NFC card equipped with a digital storage space on which contact data and information can be stored. The integrated NTAG216 chip provides enough memory to store data such as name, phone numbers and addresses.

However, if you would like to store comprehensive data such as a profile picture or social media links, we recommend our NFC-vCard digital business card. This already contains a link to a personal online profile, which provides enough space for comprehensive contact data. The NFC vCard portal makes it easy to store all the necessary information and update it at any time - without the need for an app. Any NFC-enabled smartphone can read the information on the business card.

Offline NFC business card

Each offline NFC business card contains an NXP NTAG216 chip on which your personal information is stored. The chip is invisibly integrated into the flexible card, protecting it from external influences such as light, scratches, deformation or water: no matter what your card goes through, your stored information will still be readable by NFC-enabled smartphones. Due to its typical credit card format, the card fits in any standard wallet.

Hnote: All iPhones (as of 02/2022) require support in the form of a suitable NFC reader app (e.g.NFC21-Reader/NFC21-Tools) in order to read contact data stored directly on the NFC chip.

Card printing

When printing cards, you have the freedom to design the offline NFC business card as you wish: On the one hand, you have the option to print the business card full-surface with a free motif or your own logo in four-color printing. In addition, we offer various printing colors (red, blue, black, gold, silver) in which your desired motif or logo can be printed (see sample images). In both cases there is the possibility to print the cards on one or both sides as well as in four colors. For your desired design, simply open our print configurator via "Add print", which will guide you through step by step.

NFC tags with NTAG chipset are compatible with all NFC-enabled smartphones. The NFC chips are delivered without content (empty). The use of NFC tags with a chipset of the NXP NTAG series is simple, but depends on the operating system used. The following links aim to give a quick start into that topic.

Android

Android smartphones with NFC require additional apps to write to NFC tags. We have compiled typical use cases in our NFC for Android How2 collection.

iOS

NFC tags can be used in iOS with the integrated app "Shortcuts". For other use cases, we recommend an additional app, for example our free iOS app NFC21 Tools. In our NFC for iOS How2 collection, we have included several use cases for writing NFC tags with iOS devices.

Windows

In order to be able to use NFC tags under Windows, both suitable hardware (NFC USB reader/writer) and suitable software are required. In our How2 collection we show how to use the NFC tags with the appropriate NFC hardware and software (e.g. our free software NFC21-Tools).
