The NFC Starter Kit Large contains 22 selected NFC products and offers a particularly comprehensive selection of the most popular NFC tags for a wide range of applications. It includes all the components of the NFC Starter Kit Medium and expands them with additional color variants and exclusive additions. These include an additional NFC wristband made of fabric and two NFC cards with the NTAG216 chip - one made of PVC and one made of bamboo. The NFC products included in the set are equipped with the proven NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216 chips, which enables broad compatibility and flexible application options. The NFC Starter Kit Large is the ideal solution for tech-savvy people looking for a comprehensive set to realize complex or creative NFC projects.

NFC chip

The NXP NTAG21x series impresses with the greatest possible compatibility, good performance and intelligent additional functions. Each individual chip has a unique serial number (UID) consisting of 7 bytes (alphanumeric, 14 characters). The NFC chips can be written to up to 100,000 times and have a data retention period of 10 years. The NTAG213, 215 and 216 chips have the UID ASCII mirror feature, with which the UID of the tag can be appended to the NDEF message, as well as an integrated NFC counter, which increases automatically when reading. Both functions are not activated by default. The NTAG chips included in the starter kit are compatible with all NFC-enabled smartphones, the NFC21 tools and all ISO14443 end devices.
