Area of application
The Tamper Loop NFC sticker was explicitly developed for the detection and authentication of manipulations and product piracy. The extended loop enables a digital sealing function and protects manufacturers and consumers against counterfeiting. A closed loop indicates that the package is sealed, while an open loop indicates that the package is already open. Via a programmed on-chip URL, the status of the manipulation detection can be checked at any time by means of an nfc-capable smartphone.
Products can also be authenticated at every stage of the supply chain by verifying their digital identity. Even in the case of an open loop, the Tamper Loop can be read with a smartphone to provide a specific consumer experience. It can be used at any time for further sales activities such as vouchers, product services or access to special social media channels and much more. The Tamper Loop sticker can be used to develop innovative ways to use digital product connections for consumers and revolutionize the product lifecycle.
The surface material of the white NFC sticker is made of PET. The sticker has a total length of 50mm. The diameter of the circle is 25mm. The bow has a length of 25mm and a width of 4mm. The height of the NFC sticker is 0,2mm. The antenna is easily visible from the outside as the sticker is white. The chipset of the sticker is compatible with all common nfc-capable smartphones.
Features & Functions
The sticker contains the NTAG 213 TT, which has a storage capacity of 180 bytes (NDEF: 137 bytes) and can be written up to 100,000 times. The NTAG213 TT has the UID ASCII Mirror Feature, with which the UID of the tag can be attached to the NDEF message, as well as an integrated NFC counter, which automatically increases during readout.
