PVC NFC Card, 85 mm x 54 mm, NTAG 413 DNA, 160 byte, white
Usage
Our PVC NFC Cards with the NTAG 213 chipset offer various usage possibilities. he NTAG 413 chipset has some unique features which enable specialized use cases. On the one hand the chipset utilizes advanced AES-based security mechanisms for content security and authentication. On the other hand, the chipset can be programmed to generate a unique value every time the content is accessed. The unique message can be validated and not be copied by third parties. This allows scenarios where it has to be assured that the tag has actually be scanned without using an extra application on the user’s device.
Note: To use advanced features deep technical knowledge and development experience is necessary. Please contact us for further assistance.
Product description
The white NFC Card is made of PVC, so it is both flexible and waterproof. It has a length of 8.5 cm, a width of 5.4 cm and a thickness of 0.90 cm. As this is the typical format of credit cards, our NFC Card should fit into all common wallets. The built-in chipset functions well with all common NFC-enabled smartphones.
Features & functions
The card contains the NTAG 413 DNA, which has a memory capacity of 160 byte (NDEF: 128 byte). This chip comes along with the UID ASCII Mirror Feature, which allows to attach the UID of the chip to the NDEF message. Additionally, the chip contains a NFC counter, which counts the times a NFC tag is read. Both functions are deactivated by default.
Besides the UID-Mirror and NFC-Counter feature, well known from the NTAG 213 series, the NTAG 413 features AES-based authentication as well as the Secure Unique Message Feature (SUN). Latter allows the Tag to generate a unique string (HASH) based on a shared secret. The hash can, for example, be attached to an NDEF-URL and be checked on the server side if the webservice knows the shared secret. Full potential of the chipset can only be utilized with a suitable infrastructure.
Further information about this chip and other NFC chip types you can find here. We also provide you with a download of the technical documentation by NXP.
